RIP SERENA SHIM  you bravely exposed Turkey’s role in the destabilization of Syria and now they killed you?

Serena is an American journalist has been killed in a car crash in Turkey just a day after claiming she claimed the Turkish intelligence services had threatened her over her reporting of the siege of Kobane.

Serena Shim, who worked for Iran’s state-owned Press TV as Turkey correspondent, died in the city of Suruc in mysterious circumstances

Shim’s death came just days after she spoke on camera of her fears of being arrested, claiming Turkish intelligence agents had accused her of spying after one of her reports suggested ISIS militants were being smuggled back and forth over the Syrian border in the back of aid vehicles.

This is the video where she speaks of her fears and the threats she received ONE day before her death

Ehlen achi/achti I am originally from the Liwa Iskandarun i am wondering if there is any news about Maher in syria?hope he is fine what is the situation of the human resources of the syrian arab army? How the government is financing itself in this difficult situation?what is about the situation of the agriculture? shukran Allah ma'a sha'ab suri u hayye jeysh al arabi suri

News From Syria Answer:

Maher is still the general commander of the Republican guard. Nothing changed regarding the recourses of the Syrian army no more people were taken other than the ones listed. The government is still working as usual. The salaries of people working in the government was not even delayed once. We have been under sanctions before that is why we got used to having our primary source of goods the ones made in Syria. Syria has a very giving land agriculture wise and other recourses and we can self survive easily that is what we are doing with the help of friendly countries who actually care about the well being of Syrian people.

Agriculture wise the difficulty we are facing now is regarding the cotton industry we used to have much more production but due to the weather and many of cotton land burned the production was reduced. Olive oil this year also was scarce due to the weather.

Thanks for your kind words. alla ma’na akid w ma el jeysh (God is with us and with our army as you said)

Can people still fly to Syria for a holiday or are all airports on lock due to the scum bags that currently plague your country?

News From Syria Answer:

Yes for sure airports are still working as usual. Last year Aleppo airport had to stop for some time because of the safety of the road. But it reopened after the Army insured the safety of the road . Here in Damascus and also Latakia the airport is working at full capacity especially in holiday times when it gets very crowded. Yet as you know because of the “unfair and unethical” sanctions on Syria many european airlines stopped using Syrian airports so now you have to find airlines that are coming here.

Mortar shells on Damascus and 81 terrorists from FSA and so called Islamic Army

Today the terrorists in Jobar which is the well known neighborhood that the terrorists target Damascus with mortar shells from it. Today they tried to go into Damascus yet after hours of fights with the Syrian Army they went back defeated with 81 of them dead. They tried to first shell Damascus with mortar bombs (thank God no martyrs until now but several injuries among the civilians) and then tried to attack the Army check points but were not able to pass.

All this is happening because the army will in the next few days hopefully be able to control again this strategic area since only small parts of it are still under those terrorists’ control.

Good Morning from the Ancient Saint Ananias church were prayers for peace in Syria were held today.
More about the Church:
The House of Saint Ananias (also called Chapel of Saint Ananias) (Arabic: كنيسة القديس حنانيا‎) is an ancient underground structure in Damascus, Syria, that is known to be the remains of the home of Ananias of Damascus, where Ananias baptized Saul (who became Paul the Apostle).Archaeological excavations in 1921 found the remains of a Byzantine church from the 5th or 6th century CE, adding physical evidence to support local tradition that the chapel has an early-Christian origin.The building is at the end of the Street Called Straight near the Bab Sharqi(Eastern Gate).

I'm an American and I really want to better understand the happenings of the Syrian Civil War but all I se to get is propaganda. Could you, in your best words explain why the country is at war, and what is happening currently? It would mean a lot to me

News From Syria Answer:

I don’t know if you need the history of how it started. But as simple as I can possibly clear it out for you. The country is at war because the president is secular and although he is a Muslim but he is not “Sunni” and from the minority that is why they want him gone and want Syria to be a Muslim country like Saudi Arabia and not secular. That is why also there is war in Iraq and that is why the Muslim brotherhood took over after the Revolution in Egypt. You can simply look at the fighters coming into Syria, Iraq and Lebanon and you can see they are all Muslim extremists and you can hear about how they kill people according to their sect and how they force their own ideas of Islam even on religious sunnis.

What is currently happening is the Syrian army is fighting with those groups who are made of 105 nationalities. There are areas that are completely safe and under the control of the Syrian Army, areas that are under the Control of the army but are targeted with Mortar shells and rockets by the terrorists and areas that are under control of those terrorists and the army is fighting to regain control of all Syria.

Anonymous asked:

What do you think of the YPG and Peshmerga, etc who are fighting against isil?

News From Syria Answer:

As long as they are fighting along with the Syrian Army or Iraqi Army (in Iraq’s case) against terrorism I support them for defending their country and land. I would prefer if they are enlisted in the army defending the country as a whole not just their areas but still I respect them for standing up for themselves and not fleeing and especially their brave women.
